Signed Galle vase

 

This vase measures just over 3" in height and the condition is "as found" which means there is a vertical hairline on one side and small chips in the making around the neck.  I bought the vase because it is literally one of the prettiest pieces of cameo glass I have ever seen regardless of size or price.  It has every shade of red in it from bright torch red to victory red and then a deep pigeon blood red as well as a hint of orange.   It is one of those pieces that would stand out in any collection (and what the heck, you put the hairline to the back of the cabinet right?)  It is signed Galle in cameo.
